Patton led the Cavaliers in scoring two straight seasons

Tri-County graduate Zack Patton enjoyed a terrific basketball career for the Cavaliers, leading the team in scoring two straight seasons.

The Tri-County Athletic Department will induct former three-sport athlete Zach Patton in its Hall of Fame on Friday, Feb. 22 when the Cavaliers face Pioneer.

A 2014 graduate, Patton excelled in the classroom as well as on the athletic fields. During his junior year as a member of the Cavs’ basketball team, he was named Journal and Courier Small School Honorable Mention, Herald Journal First Team and all-Midwest Conference First Team.

Patton followed up a strong junior campaign with an even stronger senior season. While leading the Cavaliers in almost all statistical categories, Patton earned Journal and Courier All Area First Team selection and player of the year honors from the Midwest Conference, Herald Journal and Rensselaer Republican.

Patton continued his basketball and educational career at Wabash College, graduating in 2018.
