The Jasper County Airport will be hosting an aviation career day on Friday, May 12, open for area schools and anyone interested to attend free of charge. The idea was begun by Airport Manager Ray Seif, who hopes it will inspire local students to seek aviation opportunities even though they come from an area not heavily connected to that field. It will include static displays and demonstrations from area professionals volunteering their time and effort.Â
