MONTICELLO — Twin Lakes girls tennis team started its season on a high note April 7, cruising to a 5-0 win over Rossville.

At No. 1 singles, Kailey Sanders defeated Addie Hale 6-0, 6-4; while at No. 2 singles, Sydney McCall rolled to a 6-0, 6-3 win over Sydney McCullough. Ava Kaufmann, at No. 3 singles, defeated Ashley Emens 6-1, 6-2.

In doubles action, the Indians rolled to a pair of straight-set wins.

At No. 1, Hannah Hodgen and Emma Need rolled past Demi Freeman and Chloe Rodkey 6-0, 6-0, while Janna Pepple and Jacky Diaz easily topped Alyssa Redding and Ella Burke, also by a6-0, 6-0 count.

The Twin Lakes junior varsity girls defeated Rossville, 3-2.
