Flood survivor and flood advocate training will be conducted from noon-1 p.m. May 31. Those who wish to participate, according to a news release from the Iroquois County Flood Information Group, can do so by accessing the meeting via computer or smartphone at https://zoom.us/j/441130874 .

Flood Forum USA will. host this training which will be presented by Joe Rossi, executive director of the Massachusetts Coastal Coalition.

Rossi is an insurance expert. He’ll cover issues such as filing a claim, damage estimates, Increased Cost of Compliance, Substantial Damage, Federal Mitigation Assistance, and building in a flood zone. There’ll be a 20 minute presentation via zoom video conference, and 40 minutes responding to questions.
