The Fountain County 4-H Fair Queen Contest is scheduled to hit the stage July 13 at 7 p.m. in the main stage. First year pageant director Lindsay Salts said there are six contestant in this year’s event.
Contestants must be between 17-21 years old, and this year one young lady is in high school. Among the criteria the young ladies are judged by; a three-minute interview discussing awards and prior achievements, as well as goals for their futures. The pageant will include a business suit modeling, and evening gown and then the final decision of the judging from all of the pageant events.
Brooke Crane, Alexis Martin, Gretchen Ratcliff, Carni McGrady, Reba Martin and Lainey Freeland are the contestants for the Fountain County 4-H Fair pageant. The winner of this uear’s Miss Fountain County will then represent at the 2020 Indiana State Fair pageant.
The winner will receive a tiara and be on hand to present ribbons and trophies at the various events.
Salts has been on the pageant committee for six years and was asked to take the lead this year.
