What does this business do?

We offer healthy protein smoothies and energizing teas. We are also introducing fit camps with free workouts, Zumba classes a couple Saturdays per month, and also weight loss challenges.

What was the impetus for opening this business?

Rensselaer didn’t really have a whole lot of healthy options. We wanted to bring a healthy option into town.

What is the best thing about being located in Rensselaer?

The community is super supportive, we are such a small business community that everyone supports everyone.

What is the biggest challenge?

We have just opened, I would say our biggest challenge currently is keeping up with supply/demand. I’m sure we will figure it out in time.

What is the most popular thing you sell/service you provide?

Our energy boosting teas are pretty popular, but people really love our smoothies as well.

What is a less popular item/service you would recommend?

We have a rock solid iced protein coffee that is Keto friendly that isn’t sold quite as often as other items on our menu.

What is the thing you most like to do as part of your business?

I love every aspect of the business. My favorite part would have to be helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. There’s something special about someone achieving a goal and knowing you helped them.

What is the best thing about owning your own business?

The best part of owning my own business is the flexibility of being able to create an environment based on your own dreams and visions

What is the biggest downside?

I don’t think this is a true downside but there is a lot of hard work that is put into owning your own business and operating smoothly on a daily basis.

What is the biggest misconception about your business?

I think a lot of people may not know how good healthy tastes. I would encourage everyone to try it just once before saying no. You’d be surprised

What advice would you give someone thinking about starting a business?

My advice is to see your vision, then find your WHY, the real reason deep down inside you want what you want, then spend every moment working hard towards your dreams and making them happen. If your dream is to open your own business find out what it takes to do so and make it happen.
