Kentland Bank President/CEO Mel K. Ward is pleased to announce that Craig M. Hooker has joined Kentland Bank as Vice President/Loan Officer, at the Rensselaer Branch.

Hooker has been in banking in the Rensselaer area with over 24 years of experience as Branch Manager, and a Consumer, Mortgage, Agricultural and Commercial lender.

Hooker was raised on his family’s farm in Jasper County, graduated from Rensselaer Central High School, and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana State University. He currently resides in Rensselaer with his wife Brienne and daughter Maggie.

He continues to be very active in Rensselaer and the surrounding area communities where he currently serves as Board Vice President, Finance Committee Member and Fundraising Committee Chair, for CDC Resources. He is a member of the Rensselaer Rotary Club and has also served as Treasurer and Finance Committee Member, for the Jasper-Newton Community Foundation, INC.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, golfing, fishing and hiking. He is an avid cyclist and triathlete who recently trained for and completed Ironman Wisconsin in September of 2017.
