    RENSSELAER — If you enjoy an evening of dining, drinking and entertainment, downtown square on South Van Rensselaer is the place to go on Saturday, Oct. 6 as Main Street Rensselaer presents the 8th annual Oktober Fest.

    From 5-10 p.m. a German-style evening of family fun for everyone will take place with a food court featuring menus from Ayda's Mexican Cuisine who will be selling tacos and burritos, along with City Office & Pub, Clauss Bakery & Cafe, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Main Street Rensselaer will also have a chili booth at the festival. City Office and Pub will provide a beer garden for adults over 21.
