The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 14 between I-65 and CR 900 will be closed starting Monday, June 18, until early August as part of a resurfacing project on SR 14.

Earlier this year, SR 14 was closed from U.S. 41 to State Road 55 amid safety concerns after a harsh winter. That stretch of SR 14 will be resurfaced later this year as part of this project.

Also, the stretch of SR 14 between SR 55 and I-65 will be resurfaced later this year, but will remain open until work begins. We’ll have more details on this project as it approaches.

State road detours must be on state-maintained roads only. From SR 14 and U.S. 231, drivers will be detoured south to State Road 114, west to I-65 and North back to SR 14. From SR 14 and I-65, drivers will be detoured south to SR 114, east to U.S. 231 and north back to SR 14.
