Garry Brady - Rennselaer Care Center

RENSSELAER — Dr. Garry Brady is joining the care team at Rensselaer Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, as an attending physician.

Brady will be working with Dr. Patrick Sheets, medical director, and rounding at Rensselaer Care Center at least weekly.

Born and raised in Pulaski County, Brady practices out of Sheets’ office in Rensselaer and has worked in nursing homes for two years – one year as a staff physician and one year as a medical director. He earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Brady is a veteran, serving in the Air Force and Army for 29 years. He served a tour in Afghanistan, where he flew medivac and ran clinics for soldiers. He retired from the military in 2014.

Married with two children and four grandbabies, Brady also has a service dog, Duke, who accompanies him on rounds. Duke was a rescue from a forest fire.
