A Newton County judge held a Morocco woman in contempt of court on May 10 regarding a raid on a puppy mill that took place April 24.

Pat Gorecki, who gave two current addresses for her current residence, was on hand when authorities raided the mill. Approximately 14 dogs were rescued and both an animal control official and a county deputy had to receive medical treatment from complications resulting from the raid.
