BROOK — Understanding the Medicare program can be tricky! To help area residents better understand their options, the Brook Public Library is offering Medicare 101. This four-part series, led by Don Camp of WealthCamp Advisors, will cover everything you need to know about enrolling and participating in the Medicare Program. Each session, led by a professional advisor, will feature a different Medicare topic, with one-on-one assistance available after the discussion. This free program is open to all with no registration required. Each program will be held at the Brook Library beginning at 5:30 pm. The schedule is as follows:
July 22: Medicare Made Clear – For those new to Medicare and those who need a refresher, this class will cover all of the basics of the Medicare program.
August 19: Medicare: Extra Help – Learn about additional options in the Medicare program and how you can work the system.
September 30: Medicare 101 – A quick Medicare refresher followed by in-depth information about Supplement vs. Advantage Plans and Prescription Drug Plans.
October 21: Medicare: What’s New 2020- Learn about area changed in providers and carrier’s plans to better understand you choices for the 2020 year.
