Kentland Bank’s President, Kirby D. Drey is recently announced that Thomas F. Cutter has joined the Kentland Bank as Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, Jen Schutter as Compliance/Security/Information Systems Officer and Christopher J. Both as Vice President and Loan Officer.
Cutter has 25 years of executive financial experience in the banking industry, most recently at Jackson County Bank in Seymour, Indiana. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and later on went on to earn his Certified Public Accountant license (CPA).
He continues to be dedicated to service and volunteering. In the past he has supported youth sports, YMCA and YMCA Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way. Recently, Tom joined the Kentland Rotary Club and is an active member.
Tom and his wife, Jan, live in Lafayette and have three grown children.
Jen Schutter has more than 13 years of banking experience, serving as a customer service representative, personal banker, branch manager as an Officer and Assistant Vice President. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
She is currently serving as the Treasurer and Committee Member for the Earl Park Fall Festival. She volunteers her time between the Benton Community Promise, the Prairie Crossing PTO, and Junior Achievement.
Both joins Kentland Bank with over five years of lending experience in the Iroquois County market and will be working with Commercial and Agricultural customers.
He is a graduate of Watseka Community High School, Kankakee Community College, and Franklin University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He is a graduate of the Purdue Agricultural Banking School and is certified by the American Bankers Association in Commercial and Small Business Banking.
Both has previously contributed his time as President of the Kiwanis Club of Watseka, Master of the Watseka Masonic Lodge, and Most Wise Master of the Valley of Danville Scottish Rite. He is an active member of the Illinois Student Assistance Program, Iroquois County Genealogy Society, and several other community focused groups.
Christopher lives in Watseka with his wife Kailei and continues to be active with several community groups.
