Regardless of where they live, Hoosiers have a lot to say, especially when it comes to the economy, said Vi Simpson, Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor.
Farm communities have expressed concern about disaster relief and the U.S. Farm Bill, she said. Rural communities are concerned the state’s economic development dollars are being steered away from them. People living in urban areas are worried about the loss of the manufacturing base and the move to lower paying service economy jobs, she said.
