Crash suspect arrested, driver nets more charges

BROOKSTON – The suspect who allegedly fled the scene of a Brookston car crash last Saturday evening has been identified and arrested, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

Zachary Paul Collins, 20, allegedly fled the scene of a Brookston car crash after a two-county high speed chase last Saturday and was arrested on Friday evening for an outstanding warrant, according to Chris Downard, captain of the uniform division of the Lafayette Police Department.
