WHEATFIELD — As part of the Spring Sports Awards, presented on Tuesday, May 28, the standouts from each Junior Varsity team also received awards.
For baseball, JV coach Jeremy Rozhon presented the JV Offensive MVP Award to Cayden Dykuizen and the JV Defensive MVP Award to Ryan Mehok. Max Shultz was named as the JV Pitching Ace Award and Ryan Howard won the Kougar Pride Award.
In softball, Coach Amanda Suarez presented awards to: Tara Cannon for JV Mental Attitude; Jenna Smith as JV Most Improved Award; and, Shelby Crane and Jenna Fitzpatrick shared the JV Kougar Pride Award.
For tennis, Megan Daniels received the JV Mental Attitude Award, Emmagrace Biernat received the JV Most Valuable Player Award and Carmen Quintero was named JV Most Improved.
