JASPER COUNTY — Some may not realize it until it is too late, but there is a serious propane shortage happening in Indiana and all across the Midwest.

According to Vince Brown, Ceres Solutions manager, “We are only allowing 200 gallons maximum for delivery with our customers. If we can keep everyone in propane, that is our main goal.”

Prices have risen from $2.49 a gallon for propane right before Christmas to $4.95 as of Friday at Ceres.

For more details see the Thursday, Jan. 30, print edition or e-edition of the Kankakee Valley Post News.
