Members of the Watseka Rocks group met Wednesday night to paint some rocks.
The group has been working for about a year on some projects around town, including getting different groups, businesses and individuals to place painted rocks at their homes and places of business.
One of the first rocks painted now sits at the Watseka Post Office.
The group’s mission is to GROW, which stands for Growing and Revitalizing Watseka.
While the group said they would love to see the entire business district decorated with such rocks, they also invited residents to do so at their homes.
They have also hosted some rock painting activities, one of which was Wednesday night at CR Cafe in Watseka.
The group has several rocks painted, which they plan to have available for people to use after the Watseka July 4 festivities.
Those who are interested may find more information on the group’s Facebook page.
