Four IBCA All-Star games were played Saturday at Pontiac High School.

The first game of the evening were the 1A-2A girls. Sammi Matoush of Hillsboro scored 28 points as the South edged the North, 93-92.

Kennedy Bauer of Watseka led the North with 17 points with Danville Schlarmann’s Sydney Goudard adding 15 points. Watseka’s Magan Harris was also on the North team and received four points of her own.

Next were the 3A/4A girls. Celia Satter of Chicago Loyola Academy had 23 points to power the girls 3A-4A North past the South, 95-83.

The South was paced by Morton’s Tenley Dowell with 19 points.

Playing third was the 1A/2A boys. For the North, which featured Watseka’s Blake Castonguay, LeRoy’s Nick Perry led in scoring with 16 points as the North edged the South 93-92.

Bryson Bultman of Nashville led the South with 16 points.

The final game of the evening was the 3A/4A boys teams.

Marquise Kennedy, a Loyola University commit from Brother Rice and Anthony Roberts from Oak Park scored 20 points each to lead the boys 3A-4A North to a 132-121 win over the South.

Northern Illinois commit Keenon Cole from Streamwood added 19 for the North.

The South was paced by Illinois Mr. Basketball and Ohio State commit E.J. Liddell of Belleville West with 28 points.
