Watseka Police arrested Jose Roberto Perez Alvarado, 23, Watseka in the 100 block of S. Eighth at 10:22 a.m. on May 28. Alvarado was wanted on two Iroquois County warrants charging him with mob action and failure to appear on a charge of criminal damage to property. Alvarado was transported to the Iroquois County Jail.

Watseka Police arrested Chad C. Koester, 30, Watseka, in the 700 block of W. Walnut at 11:17 a.m. on May 28. Koester was charged with 5 counts of fraudulent use of debit card and 5 counts of theft under $500. Koester was transported to the Iroquois County Jail.

Watseka Police respodned to a report of trespassing in the 100 block of S. Second at 12:04 p.m. on May 28.

Watseka Police arrested Jordan A. Langston, 22, Watseka, in the 500 block of N. Fourth St. at 2:07 p.m. on May 28. Langston was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant charging him with mob action. Langston was transported to the Iroquois County Jail.

Watseka Police responded to a report of trespassing in the 200 block of W. Mulberry at 2:29 p.m. on May 28.

Watseka Police responded to a child custody matter in the 100 block of E. Washington at 4:44 p.m. on May 28.

Watseka Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of W. Park at 11:22 p.m. on May 28.

Watseka Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Coney Ave. at 9:03 a.m. on May 29.

Watseka Police responded to a report of theft in the 400 block of Veteran’s Parkway at 10:14 a.m. on May 29.

Watseka Police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 1100 block of E. Walnut at 2:01 p.m. on May 29.

Watseka Police responded to a 911 open line in the 500 block of E. Porter a 2:03 p.m. on May 29.

Watseka Police responded to a 911 hang up in the 1400 block of E. Walnut at 3:10 p.m. on May 29.

Watseka Police arrested Steven G. Houser, 45, Watseka, in the 100 block of Hubbard Ct. at 4:57 p.m. on May 29. Houser was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of driving while license revoked. Houser was transported to the Iroquois County Jail.

Watseka Police responded to a two vehicle accident in the 100 block of Loveridge Lane at 8:46 p.m. on May 29. According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Lucas M. Lenz, 21, White House, Tn., was backing from a driveway and struck a parked vehicle belonging to Kevin W. Coughenour, Watseka. Damage was estimated at over $1,500. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported.

COUNTY

On May 29 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested Larry J. Smith, 41, Kankakee. According to police reports, Smith was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant for possession of burglary tools. Smith was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.
