Help organize and present monthly management accounting reports to general manager of Chinese parent company. Analyze company financial and tax filings to verify compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and ensure corporate compliance with regulatory and control standards. Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual Accounting for Income Tax (ASC 740) provision calculations and financial reporting disclosures. Reqts: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field and two years tax accounting and financial reporting experience, including prep of Financial or Business Operations reports and Budget Analyses, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws and regulations, and reconciling financial statements using Chinese GAAP. Nanshan America Advanced Aluminum Tech, LLC, Lafayette, IN International Research Metallurgist Engineer to perform lab and materials testing experiments on aluminum alloy products to support casting, extrusion, and manufacturing activities. Provide metallurgical support and apply material characterization techniques and identify, analyze, test, and improve the performance of products and ensure quality control standards. Conduct metallurgical analyses using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive x-ray spectrometry (EDS), metallograpy, Finite Element Method (FEM), or any method used to characterize materials and processes. Perform fracture toughness analyses of samples using KIC methodology. Draft metallurgical test reports and travel abroad to meet Chinese engg staff and apprise them of metallurgical issues impacting US operations; consult with US and International customers to determine and interpret aluminum product reqts. Requires MS in Materials or Metallurgical Engg. Expertise in the principles of Metallurgical and materials engg as demonstrated by six months experience, thesis/graduate research, twelve credits grad course work, or peer-reviewed publications in each area. Exp, research, course work or publications must include metallurgical analyses using SEM, EDS, FEM, and metallography, and conducting fracture toughness analyses using KIC methodology. Regular international travel (approx. 30%) required.
